Karla Park, Shelley Dally Early Learning Village's Classified Employee of the Year
We proudly announce that Karla Park is our 2023-2024 Classified Employee of the Year at the Shelley Dally Early Learning Village.
Karla is incredibly dependable, always at work on time, and has a positive attitude. She is among the friendliest people you will ever meet and makes her colleagues, families, and students feel welcome. Students look to her for her support, help, and comfort. Her colleagues share that they can learn much from watching her work, and she is quick to lend a hand.
A lifelong learner who is willing to learn something new. She takes feedback well, seeks out new and different ways to improve her skills, and then implements them in various ways and settings.
She is flexible and willing to help when other staff or classrooms need a hand. She knows every child’s name on the playground and has lovely play skills. Karla can lean into childhood joy and help students learn to play and through play. This can be a tough task for some grown-ups, but she knows how to make learning fun for our preschoolers.
The preschool is lucky to have Karla on our team.
